Felisa works on an open porch, or corridor. To her right, where the beautiful light comes from, is a courtyard of packed earth. A kitchen - cocina - and a bathroom - lava - make opposite ends of a "U" enfolding the courtyard. On the far side of the courtyard a dug well provides water for an outdoor cooking area and a laundry. Nearby are pens for turkeys and pigs.
